BiographyHighlights
Ewoud founded Westplan in 1994 and began structuring US real estate investments in 1996. Before moving with his family to the U.S. in 2002, Ewoud also structured and developed real estate projects focused on in-fill, multi-family, residential projects in The Netherlands. Prior to founding Westplan Mr. Swaak co-founded HRS Makelaardij (a real estate agency) in 1991 in The Netherlands which he sold in 1997. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and studied Real Estate Science at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. Ewoud serves as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for Georgia and South Carolina. He is also a member of the Real Estate Honorary Board at Georgia State University, the Board of Advisors of the Netherlands American Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). He is married to Kimberle and has two children: Evan and Isabella. |
